My Story
My name is Quanta Larkins, and I am the Owner of Larkins Personal Care Assistants LLC. This company was founded in 2018. I have an Associate degree in Applied Science and working on my bachelor’s degree of Mortuary Science. I have previously graduated from Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Hospice, and Pharmacy technician trade schools. I have been in the Homecare field since 2005 and is currently a Certified Home Health Aide. I have experience with developmentally disabled adults, elderly, mentally ill, physically handicap, hospice, Alzheimer’s, and dementia clients.

I started this business because as a home health aide, my clients needed more than one-hour personal care. They needed assistance with daily personal care, meals, medication reminders, bathing, grooming, housekeeping, errands, and laundry. I knew that I could not assist everyone myself so that is when I decided to start my own company. I have many nurses, therapist, intake coordinators, and social workers that I work closely with to make sure that every client has their daily personal care needs met with Larkins Personal Care Assistants. My goal is to make sure that I can help as many people as possible and to make sure their life is stress-free pertaining to their daily care.
The Process
Larkins Personal Care Assistants work with Medicare homecare agencies, DAAA (Detroit Area on Aging Agency), DHS, Auto claims, as well as VA. Private pay is accepted as well, and we are flexible to make sure everyone can afford care.​
